The key components of the Membro submersible pumps are aluminium housing, electromagnetic transformer, vibrator, inlet valve, check valve, thermal protection switch and outlet duct.
The water is moved by electromagnetically generated vibrations in the pressure chamber, confined by check valve and vibrator.
From the pressure chamber the water is pushed through to two parallel channels in the pump's housing and on to the outlet duct.
Thanks to this unique construction there are no rotating parts, which increases the pump's durability and ensures that minimum maintenance is required.
The position of the pump's engine between the two parallel water channels allows for its continuous cooling, resulting in optimum working temperature.
In addition, Membro pumps are equipped with a built-in thermal protection switch, which will stop the pump in the event of overheating due to running dry or insufficient submersion.
